About Us
Our school, Mobile Central High School, is part of the English School District, which operates over 250 schools. Our school has an enrollment of nearly 400 students from grades 5 to 12. Mobile Central High School is located on the scenic Southern Shore of the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland. The total population of the area served by the school is approximately 3500, spread out in the two larger communities of Bay Bulls and Witless Bay, and in five smaller communities Mobile, Tors Cove, Burnt Cove, St. Michael's and Bauline.
Mobile Central High school is entrenched as a neighborhood school believing in the principles of academic excellence, co-curricular participation, life-long learning and community partnerships. Our teachers are advocates for change who daily fulfill a collective responsibility to ensure that learning takes place for all students.
The mission of Mobile Central High School is to create a safe, caring environment that encourages mutual respect and promotes learning as a lifelong process so that all students can reach their maximum personal and academic potential.
